Quiz

Khiva is an ancient city in what is now Uzbakistan. I found at least on traveler to this magnificent city. The reason for choosing this name too is quite simple -- it is the birth place of one of the earliest Muslim computer scientist - Mohammad Bin Musa Al-Khawarizimi. Yes, Khawarizimi was the first to develop the notion of "algorithm" (In fact, the world "algorithm" itself came from his own name, Khawarzimi). And it was this notion of "computation" that evolved into Turning machine and finally, a computer.

Although, I don't expect this effort to give birth to Khawarzimis (though that would be great!) but I certainly see this effort to act as a seed for much bigger efforts in the future -- insha'Allah.
