BWi History.

purpose.

BLACK WOMEN INVESTING was founded for undergraduate and graduate Black women to learn the skill of financial planning. As more and more black women graduate from highly ranked universities, knowledge of financial planning will be an invaluable asset, as many of these women will receive moderate to high paying salaries. As well, the amount of the nation’s black entrepreneurs will continue to increase with the attainment of graduate and professional degrees, and financial literacy will be important to the success of these businesses. Furthermore, an uncertain economy and expected inflation will decrease the purchasing power of all Americans, but those who have learned to save, invest and plan for the future will be able to keep their heads above water.
