Does she have to do anything to do with the Peach Melba? Wasn't the Peach Melba named by an Aussie Chef in honor of an Opera Singer? Does anybody have info on the origin?

He was born on February 19, 1948 in Aston, Birmingham, England. Although he began playing accordion, it wasn't long before he was inspired by Cliff Richards and the Shadows (Hank Marvin on guitar) to begin saving for his first guitar at the age of 14. At the age of 18, his band booked its first gig in Germany. He gave notice to his job at a machine shop to pursue his career, only to have a devastating accident on his very last day of work. He caught his right hand in one of the machines, tearing off the tips of his middle and ring fingers. Although doctors told his playing days were over, a friend returned his faith by bringing him a recording by Django Rienhardt, a gypsy guitarist who also injured his hand. Although Django had only two fingers on his fretting hand, his music was brilliant. Newly inspired, he designed a type of thimble to fit his fingertips, and added leather pads for better grip. Using this, he relearned how to play guitar. Looking back, he feels the accident definitely had influence over his future guitar stylings. He had to compensate for the lack of feeling in his fingertips, so he played the notes "over vibrato", which resulted in a fuller sound. Who ease he? Thanx to Sankalpa Bhattacharjya for the Q)
