Life In A Bottle Of Water
You care about the quality of your drinking water?
You don’t know about water delivery services?
If you answered “yes” to both of the above questions you should definitely read on to find out how to have water of high drinking quality delivered fast and easily.
Have water delivered
You can have the drinking water delivered to any place you like to: to your office, to a place where you have a water cooler of your own or to your residential home. The water you have delivered can either be still or sparkling depending on your preferences and of course the time of delivery will be adjusted to your needs, too. The reason why water delivery is so popular and an excellent business nowadays is because both the sale of bottled water as well as commercial water cooler services that offer high quality water are very popular.
Studies in the United States and Canada show that people making use of water delivery do so 50% for home use and 50% for commercial use. However, in the UK the situation is completely different. There customers using water delivery services for their own home are only 1% of the total number of water delivery service users.
High quality water
Of course the water used in such delivery services will be of particularly good quality as it is made to undergo reverse osmosis treatment. This is done to separate water molecules from impurities. After this process only oxygen and hydrogen are left behind in free-flowing municipal or spring water. What happens next is that the water is filtered, sanitized, ozonated and finally bottled.
The purest form of water used by water delivery services is so-called distilled water. The water undergoes vapor compression during the distillation process and is therefore filtered for carbon as well as micron. Afterwards it is softened, boiled to vapor and finally re-condensed again. The lengthy process in the end leads to water that is so pure that it is used as an important component in chemistry experiments or even medicine, because it usually doesn’t contain any minerals or other substances. It is pure, simple water!
Choosing a water delivery service
There is a great number of companies providing customers of all kinds with water cooler services. As a customer all you have to do is log onto the website of the company and place an order for their service. Usually the companies will only have a particular brand of water available, but there are some that offer more than one water product for delivery. By placing the water order online on the company’s website you can usually have the delivery to your home and office address. To ensure that the water is of highest quality you should go for well-known water brands that come from a protected source and you should also check that the company has testing and treatment information readily available so that drinking water quality is ensured.
Maintenance for your water dispenser
The only drawback of bottled water coolers that you have to be aware of is that the fact that they require a lot of upkeep and maintenance work. Proper care of the bottled water and the dispenser has to be taken at all times if you want to have the clear, fresh taste of bottled water all the time and especially in cases when the water cooler is not being used so regularly or also during the particularly hot summer months.
To ensure the best taste the full bottles should be stored at a constant temperature and if possible in a cool area. This will prevent the possible contraction or expansion of the bottles. This phenomenon could draw microscopic materials into the bottle and thereby reduce the quality of your drinking water and should therefore be avoided. The right storage also prevents the growth of algae.
How to clean the bottled water cooler
The bottled water dispenser should be cleaned thoroughly in the following manner every three months:
- The person who changes the bottle has to wash his hands and wipe the top and neck of the new bottle with a clean, sterile cloth to avoid contamination.
- Remove the empty water bottle form the water cooler and add one tablespoon of bleach to the water reservoir
- Add sufficient cold water from the tap so that the bleach fills the tubing between the tap and the reservoir
- Leave the bleach solution to stand for about five to ten minutes
- Use a small brush cloth or a sponge to clean the reservoir after that
- Make sure you flush out the bleach completely after this procedure with several cups of fresh bottled water
