You've stumbled upon the website for the Big Game Hunters, a sketch comedy group based out of the University of Southern California. Many people seek to understand the strange and delicate ways of the Big Game Hunters, but in order to understand the present incarnation of this prestigious group, you must look at its humble origins.

Big Game Hunters began in 1896 as a hunting society founded by then police commissioner of New York City, Theodore Roosevelt. With annual hunting expeditions to procure large game, including bear, moose, fat sorority girls, occasionally elephant when the group would travel overseas, and buffalo, the group grew in membership and acclaim. However, with Mr. Roosevelt’s resignation of his position upon the outbreak of the Spanish-American War, and his subsequent notoriety in national politics, Big Game Hunters celebrity decreased along with its membership. After his failed presidential run in 1912, Roosevelt returned to Big Game Hunters to find his society in shambles. He set off with his renowned vigor in recruiting young, personable, sociable, and wealthy members to the club. For a few years, Big Game Hunters was once again the cock of the walk.

With Roosevelt's death in 1919, however, Big Game Hunters again fell to the wayside. With declining membership, increased effort in conservation, and, on Black Tuesday in 1929, the collapse of the stock market, Big Game Hunters was wiped nearly off the map. Kept alive for the rest of the century by an elite group of Aryan-Hunter/Gatherers in the northernmost wilds of Idaho, the group was finally wiped off the map in 2002, with the elimination of the last Big Game Hunters Aryan Nation compound in Hayden Lake, ID.

However, in the fall of 2004, a few USC students discovered the legend and history behind one of America's most famed big game hunting societies, and with a pitched effort from the Roosevelt estate, USC, and a special charter from the California State Senate, Big Game Hunters was reborn. Charter members included Benjamin J. Sherman, esq.; The Honorable Michael Seth Prell III; Reverend Alex Z. Logan; Duke Kirill Baru of the Ukraine; Mr. Adam Aresty, sr.; and Benjamin Judah Mohammad George. Unfortunately, due to a tragic hunting accident, Duke Baru has been in and out of reconstructive surgery where his huge, muscular frame and movie-star good looks are hoped to recover by this summer at the latest.

And now, with a brand new pledge class including Countess Francisca L. Thomas, Technocrat Erik M. Gieszelmann, Sir William V. Gough VIII, and Jon, "the Danforth", Appell, Big Game Hunters looks towards the future, as it always has, with a crosshair in its eye.
