Baohua Cao

Prior to joining USC, I spent 4 years at IBM Research - China(CRL) as a regular member, working on IBM WebSphere Cloud, Web Service Building and Business Intelligence in collaboration with IBM centers at T.J. Watson and New York. I have a B.S. and M.S in computer science under the supervision of Prof. Deyi Li with a concentration on web systems and software engineering.

Profile

• 1. Expert on JAVA programming, JUNIT testing, HTML building and coding, and HTTP/CSS/JavaScript/XML/JSON/REST.
  2. 4 full years of R&D experience in IBM Research-China as a regular web developer or a software engineer.
  3. Good at teamwork with 7 projects of web application, 20 papers, 22 Chinese (4 in US) patents, 4 IBM awards, 8 scholarships
  4. B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science on software engineering and web technology.
  5. Solid understanding of web development, Cloud Computing, Mobile Internet, OO Theory, PHP, MySQL and Eclipse SDK.
  6. Good experience with tools of Eclipse, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, MATLAB, TEX-Editor, XML-Spy.
  7. Comfortable working on the UNIX command line and using of version control system SVN.
  8. Experience on Cloud Computing development (VMs), and Android Mobile platform. Smart phone (IPhone 4) user.
  9. Self-motivated, excellent problem-solving skills, good organizational and time-management skills.
