Every semester we teach four different dances, with 6 weeks of
instruction by professional dance teachers for each dance. More
information on the types of dances we teach can be found here.
Dancers of all levels are welcome! Our beginner classes are perfect for those who have absolutely no dance experience whatsoever, those who need a refresher, and those who are still unsure of their ability. Intermediate classes are offered for those with prior dance experience, who have demonstrated a certain level of mastery of the basics. We constantly rotate partners in class so everyone gets a chance to dance; you don't need to have a partner to join.
Membership dues are $80 per semester, and cover instruction for
ALL dances (both Ballroom AND Latin), at both the beginner and
intermediate levels. The dues are the same, even if you can only come to one class.
Competitors pay for their own shoes and costumes,
though the team does have old practice shoes available. Talk to an
officer to see if we have any shoes that are your size.
If you are joining in the middle of the semester, the fee is $70.
We understand that our classes may or may not fit your needs, so your first class is always free to try. Dues are collected at your second class. We accept cash or checks only. If writing a check, please make it out to "USC Ballroom".
Membership dues go directly towards paying our instructors, so they cannot be refunded once paid.
