  Professional Development Chair
  Andy Olson
Andy is a Los Angeles County native and studied at that other school across town (you know...with the bear mascot). His BA is in Political Science with minors in Human Complex Systems and Urban and Regional Studies. He is interested in all aspects of cities, especially urban design and development. After graduation, he hopes to design, develop, and improve cities and communities.

  Communications Chair
  Emily Hsiung
Emily was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley and is a Southern California girl through and through. After having traveled with her family to various European and Asian countries growing up, she developed a love for people and places. Naturally, she pursued a BA in Urban Studies at UC Irvine and decided to continue her graduate studies in Planning at USC to put her passion for places to work. Post-graduation, Emily plans to delve into the world of real estate development. Using her planning background as a fundamental backdrop to building lasting environments, she hopes to create efficient places conducive to community and comfort. In her free time, she enjoys discovering new neighborhoods on foot, shopping for bargains, and cooking healthful foods.

  Sustainability Chair
  Liane Miller
Liane grew up in Austin, Texas and is a proud Texan and Longhorn! She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2009 and worked for the city's waste management utility for a year before moving to Los Angeles to study planning. Liane is pursuing the MPL/MPA dual-degree and is concentrating in Design or Sustainable Land Use (still deciding). Her interests are in infrastructure, green building, resource management, and local government.

  GPSS Representative
  Dima Galkin
Born in Russia, Dima came to the US at the age of three. He grew up in St. Louis, MO and attended Washington University in St. Louis for his undergraduate degree. Dima came to Los Angeles to enroll at USC, continuing his long westward journey after a brief 20-year pause. With a concentration in economic development, he plans to use his MPL to effect economic growth with social equity. When not studying or working with industry location quotients and real estate development gaps, Dima likes to read, swim, and watch movies.

He studied political science and geography as an undergrad and spent the last four years working as a transportation planning consultant in beautiful San Diego.
