Day Away by Ashlee Humphrey

Day away took place in the lovely city of Oxnard, in one of AOE's alumnae's house. The weekend was filled with many exciting activities such as playing mob and talking to each other. The candidates had extra assignments they had to fulfill such as bringing all the items they needed to and cooking both dinner and breakfast. The menu consisted of enchiladas and quesadillas for dinner and french toast for breakfast. On friday night the candidates were taken out to either see a movie or go shopping and while they were gone the house was transformed into a web of tangled yarn which of course they had to untangle when they returned. However they were rewarded with a present from their carnation sis at the end of the untanglement which made it worthwhile. The weekend concluded favorably with everyone leaving satisfied, albeit a little tired, that the weekend went well.

Once upon a time...AOE took a trip to see the new Disney movie with McDreamy and it was a truly Enchanted night! While a week before, they were unsure whether they could even make the trip due to school events for the UCLA game (a bear was immolated), the desire to see the movie was so great that the sisters could not resist. On November 30 the girls convened at the UV movie theater after classes, concert, dinner, etc. They got their student discounts and entered the movie theater. They were the only ones in the movie theater to see Enchanted...for the whole movie! This encouraged them to shriek with laughter, clap along to the music, hiss at the villain (Susan Sarandon), and sigh with happiness. The sisters stayed until the very end of the credits and left the theater in a much better mood than that with which they had arrived. They want to go see it again!
