For those who thought the only place one could find a comic book at a university campus was at the hands of the shy, rimmed-glassed engineering major, this week's feature story will make you think again. In institutions like USC, comics can be found at the university bookstore, under the "assigned readings" session. More and more contemporary comics are highlighting societal faults by putting them through the exaggerated lengths of a superhero story; a trend that most Hollywood comic book adaptations are not picking up on.
