Bio: Mandy Gray is a Master’s student in the University of Southern California GIST program, and expects to graduate in the summer of 2013. After receiving her BA in History of Art & Architecture from Harvard University in 2009, Mandy worked in both non-profit education and management consulting. As a management consultant, Mandy worked with numerous public & private sector clients to help structure & solve business problems. While conducting a geographic analysis to determine retail expansion opportunities for a client, Mandy decided to pursue further studies in the area of Geographic Information Science. Mandy’s background also includes several years of work in land surveying, including the creation of machine control files for GPS-operated machinery and the design, estimation & layout of numerous road construction projects.
