To ensure the future careers of Latinos in the journalism, public relations and communication fields.

Goals:

1.To increase awareness of minority issues.
2.To assist low-income, first-generation and/or at-risk high school students with
academic services.
3.To improve the image of the Latina/o in the media.
4.To inspire young students to follow and fulfill a higher education.
5.To improve the academic atmosphere at the University of Southern California.
6.To establish close ties with major public relations, journalism and communication corporations.
7.To provide internship, scholarship and job opportunities for our members.
8.To improve the surrounding communities through community involvement, community outreach and community service.
9.To improve relations with established on-campus, student-run clubs and organizations that promote diversity.
10.To establish close relations with local and national universities in an attempt to successfully accomplish similar goals and ultimately launch a unified, professional network that strives for diversity and Latino representation in the journalism, public relations and communication industries.
