I am a cat lady—I have a particularly soft spot for animals. My favorite "Planet Earth" episode is Freshwater. I love watching The Office but know that I am a VH1/MTV reality TV junkie!! I enjoy going to the beach and swimming and recently went camping for the first time. I joined A.L.I.V.E. because it's a dedicated but fun organization where I could really make a difference. It has changed my perspective on sustainability and you can now find me nagging my friends and family to be more eco-conscious. My celebrity crush is Kristen Stewart and my dream is to bump into her in a store and get a hug.

ALIVE was the first student-run organization I heard about that raised environmental awareness. From corporate farming to the bottled water industry, I learned how many things affect the environment through this organization. It also introduced me to beautiful hiking spots, great volunteer opportunities, and delicious eats around the area. Since joining ALIVE, I became more aware of the impact I made on the environment, and at the same time, I had fun!

Now, as A.L.I.V.E.'s Director of Finance, I am excited to help this organization reach its potential in spreading its creative message, and make the 2010-2011 school year its most successful year yet!

We strive to promote and educate preservation of our environment and sustainable practices through unique opportunities held on campus and in the surrounding Los Angeles area. I joined ALIVE because of its unique approach to environmentalism. As an environmental studies major, I am particularly interested in the social and governmental aspects of the environment.
