My name is Allison Leanne Jaskowiak. I am currently a
sophomore at the University of Southern California where I am a member
of the women's basketball team. Fight on! I am also an active member of
the Alpha Phi sorority.
Currently, I plan on declaring a major in English
Literature and Language. This program is organized to compliment
my anticipated minor in secondary education. Upon graduating, this
program will prepare me to be a certified English high school teacher.
If all goes well, I also plan on having a double minor in business in
case I choose to pursue a career in administration.
I have lived in Chesterfield, MO since birth living in only two different houses along the same street. When it came time to choose a college, I felt I needed a change of scenery and headed west. Going far from home was nothing new in my family; none of my siblings stayed in Missouri for college. I have one brother, Derek, who graduated from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and is currently serving his duty in the United States Navy. My sister, Emily, is currently a senior at the University of Tulsa where she is studying Speech Pathology. Both of my parents are graduates from the University of Missouri - Columbia. My father pursued business management, whereas my mother focused on education administration.
