PhD in Computer Science Currently Pursuing

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at University of Southern California. My research interests include Machine Learning and Data Mining applications in multiple domains with a focus on healthcare. My advisor is Prof. Raghavendra. I work with him as a part of the Smart Engineering Apprentice (SEA) team of the Center for Interactive Smart Oilfield Technologies (CiSoft), USC. As a part of his Predictive Analytics lab, I work on multiple projects to improve healthcare through Machine Learning. I am also enrolled in the Health, Technology and Engineering (HTE@USC) program in which I work with medical students at USC Keck School of Medicine to come up with innovations to improve healthcare.

Research Assistant August 2014 - Present

I work as a Research Assistant to my PhD advisor, Prof. Raghavendra, in the Smart Engineering Apprentice (SEA) team of CiSoft, USC.

USC Information Sciences Institute

Visiting Research Scholar May 2013 - July 2013

I worked with Prof. Knoblock and his team on the task of predicting the next location of a smartphone user using sparse GPS data. I also worked on designing workflows for adding Data Mining features to their Data Integration project, Karma.
