We provide you with opportunities to take your ChE experience to the next level. If any of these projects interest you, fill out the participation form linked on the left and we'll get you involved.

Chem-E Car Racing Team
The Chem-E Car competition is race of chemically powered cars the size of shoeboxes. Competitions are held during both national and regional AIChE conferences.

The Catalyst Project
Ever wondered what chemical engineers do in the world, really? Click on the link on the top right to learn more about real chemical engineers. Also sign up if you want to conduct your own interview!

Outreach Program
We are developing an outreach program which demonstrates chem-E experiments to elementary school children. These may include but are not limited to: polymer experiments, fluid flow experiments, nanomaterials, and possibly even a backyard distillation column! The magnitude of our projects will be based on interest. More volunteers means bigger and more fun projects!

Holiday Dinner planning committee
We want to make the holiday party in December a little more special this semester, and for that we need some volunteers to help!

Study Sessions
We have made arrangements with the Viterbi Academic Resource Center to reserve their space for you when you need it. Got an exam coming up? Let us know at least 10 days prior to the exam date and we can reserve VARC for you a few days before your exam so that you can study with your peers.

IM Sports
We are currently building a team for the Spring semester for indoor soccer, but email us if you are interested in another sport.
