Saturday, October 10th, 2009

The first site of Fall 2009 Session. We will be meetin gat 8:20AM at Denny's in the UV to carpool to Chinatown. Please be on time! There will be a short training sessions and icebreakers. Site will run from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. Please come on this day in order to ensure a kid to tutor.

Saturday, April 4th, 2009
Our first day of the Spring Quarter Session! We will be meeting at 9:20 AM at Denny's Parking Lot in the University Village to carpool to Castelar Elementary in Chinatown. Site will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Afterwards, we will all go eat Dim Sum together at Ocean Seafood Restaurant, so remember to bring some cash!

Saturday, February 28th: FIELD TRIP!!!
Our last day of the Winter Quarter Session! We will be taking our kids to Cabrillo Marine Aquarium in San Pedro. Transportation from Castelar Elementary, as well as lunches for the kids and tutors will be provided. We will meet one hour earlier at 8:20 AM at Denny's in the University Village to carpool to Castelar. We will arrive back at Castelar at 2:00 PM.

Saturday, February 14th: Valentine's Site and CPK Social!
Come celebrate Valentine's Day with the kids at Castelar Elementary! We'll be having special Valentine's activities with the grades, in addition to selling Valentine's Grams at the Snack Table!We will meet at 9:20 AM at the Denny's in the University Village to carpool to Castelar Elementary. Afterwards, we will have lunch at CPK to help fundraise.

Saturday, February 21st: Intern Day - A Day at the Zoo
On this day, your Spring 2009 AATP Interns will be in charge for the day! The theme will be "A Day at the Zoo," where each grade will have special activties planned by your Interns about different animals found at the zoo. As usual, we will meet at 9:20 AM at Denny's in the University Village to carpool to Castelar.

February 9th-February 16th, 2009- Help AATP fundraise by going to CPK! 20% of the bill will be donated to our organization if you bring in this flyer during the week of 2/9 through 2/16.

April 2008 - AATP received $750 from the Asian Excellence Awards!

October 2007 - A short film on AATP was made for the UCLA Campus Movie Fest and made the Top 16 Movies! Check it out!

 

April 2006 - AATP received a $1000 Literacy Grant from Phi Kappa Phi!

April 2004 - AATP won the USC Campus Cup Award for volunteer service! Congratulations!
