2006 Beach Party - September
Let's experience the summer breeze before it's too late. USC CSSA is organizing a beach party at Santa Monica Beach on this coming Sunday (September 10th).

Our trip plan is below. We will first gather at USC Main Campus in front of Leavy Library by 2:00pm, then we will depart to Santa Monica Beach.

The direction is to go I-10 West for 11 miles, and then exit on 4th Street, and turn right on 4th Street. Make a left on Colorado Ave and park at the public parking lot on your right hand side. You can also park on the nearby local street. We will meet near the intersection between Wilshire and 3rd Street. (Note: The public parking is free for 3 hours before 4 o'clock.)

We will play volleyball and Frisbee on the beach. You can also bring your swimming suite and go swimming there. Afterwards, we will take a walk on the 3rd street Promenade and you can also do some shopping there.

We will return home around 6:00pm. The driving directions is go south along 4th street for 0.7 mile, turn left and take I-10 east for 11.1 miles. We may have dinner together in Chinatown or near Chinese Community depending on participants' choice.

As we expect to have many new students joining this tour, we need a lot of carpool seats for the trip. We would appreciate your help if you can provide carpool seats for new students. If you are interested in tour, please send an email to Jenny (jenny836@gmail.com) for reservation.

Please let me know if you need carpool or can provide carpool seats to other people. The cost for carpool will be shared among participants (about $3 per person).
