The University Residential Student Community (URSC) serves all students who live in University housing by providing them with ways to enhance and contribute to their residential experiences at the University of Southern California. URSC, acting as a liaison between students, faculty, and administrators, expresses a unified voice to build community, empower residents, and create opportunities for academic excellence and leadership development.

URSC is made up of four boards: Executive Board, Advocacy Board, Funding Board, and Programming Board. The Executive Board is selected at the end of each school year. The other three boards are made up of residents in University Housing. At the beginning of each year, building government elections are held within each housing unit or community and one representative is chosen for each board.

URSC meetings occur every Wednesday night at 6:30 in Topping Student Center to discuss progress within URSC and to provide a forum for administrators and other student organizations to present new programs or policies to the residential community. The individual boards meet directly after each general board meeting. It is the responsibility of URSC representatives to report back to their building governments each week.
