Founded in 2001 by four Taekwondo-loving students, USC Taekwondo is now the largest martial arts organization on campus.

USC Taekwondo is open to USC students, faculty, and alumni. Registered members can attend traditional-style classes to learn Taekwondo philosophy and techniques. Those who have already learned the basics can also attend Olympic-style sparring classes. Members also have the opportunity to share Taekwondo with others in the community through activities such as demonstrations and USCTOP.

As part of the University of Southern California Recreational Sports Club program, USC Taekwondo participates in sparring and poomsae competitions.

USC Taekwondo is a martial arts sports club that competes in collegiate (e.g. Pac-West) and open tournaments. Tournament team members are selected based on level of commitment, regular attendance at sparring classes, and other factors at the discretion of our current team coach, Clayton Barber.
